How to Use the Workout Calorie Timer

Every person burns calories at a different rate depending on their body weight and the intensity of the exercise (known as the MET value). This tool mathematically calculates exactly how many minutes and seconds you need to perform your chosen activity to reach your specific calorie-burning goal.

How it Works

  1. Enter your Goal: Type in how many calories you want to burn (e.g., 400 kcal).
  2. Enter your Weight: Your weight directly impacts how much energy you expend.
  3. Pick an Exercise: Whether it is the Elliptical, Pilates, or a YouTube HIIT workout, select your activity.

Are the calories burned accurate?

The calculations are based on standard Metabolic Equivalent of Task (MET) values used by fitness professionals and health organizations. While it provides a highly accurate estimate, factors like your individual metabolism, age, and exact effort level will cause slight variations.
